Changing attorney

I am not happy with my present attorney. Can I change attorneys in the middle of a matter?

Answer
Yes, at any time at your discretion. You may however be obliged to pay for your former attorneys' reasonable fees and disbursments already incurred. Most attorneys will however agree to hold over the demand for the payment, until the matter has been finalised, on thre condition that your new attorney gives a guarantee that he will keep the old attorney covered, when payment is received. If you are unsure of your rights, we will gladly advise you, at no charge or obligation.
